No service provider can lawfully promise a one-click cancellation. The correct route depends on the stage of the debt review, whether Form 17.2 was issued, whether a court or Tribunal order exists, and whether the relevant debts have been settled.
A section 71 clearance certificate is generally the cleanest route after the qualifying obligations under the debt rearrangement have been discharged. The certificate is issued by the appropriate NCR-registered debt counsellor and is then used to update the credit record.
That is a different legal issue from ordinary completion. We first assess the paperwork and status history. If the listing appears irregular, the matter may require correction, regulatory engagement and/or court relief, depending on the facts.
You may not qualify for the ordinary clearance-certificate route yet. Depending on the stage of the matter and any order already granted, a court-based route may be considered. Eligibility must be assessed individually.
